Effective immediately, the Town's municipal elections will occur in November of odd numbered years. This change is in response to a change in the Virginia State Code that mandated that local elections occur in November. The next Town election will be held on November 2, 2021.
We would like to thank the citizens for their response to the survey that was sent regarding whether your preference was for the elections to be held in even- or odd-numbered years. The overwhelming response was to move them to odd-numbered years.
