It's A Dickens Of A Christmas In Middleburg!


The MBPA is excited to bring "A Dickens of a Christmas" experience back to Middleburg!

On Saturday, December 17th you can look forward to a theatrical performance, music, food, and more! 

Enjoy a stroll through beautiful, historic Middleburg in a horse-drawn carriage during the month of December. This unique opportunity allows you to see the Town from a different perspective. Kids love it, and so will you.


Visit Scruffy's Ice Cream Parlor for a complimentary cup of hot cocoa as you stroll the streets and shops in Middleburg. Be sure to visit a local bakery or coffee shop for a pastry or slice of pie to go with it!

FREE COCOA will be available on weekends only!

December 10th, 11th, 17th, 18th, & 24th


Starting next weekend you can see the storefronts decorated for the holidays and they do not disappoint! Thank you to all of the businesses who added to the holiday spirit this year.

Join Us For Dickens Of A Dog Parade This Saturday!


Calling all naughty and nice canines to strut their holiday spirit in the 2nd Annual Dickens of a Dog Show THIS Saturday, 12/10 from 11:30am - 2:00pm! 

All well-behaved dogs are welcome, and a portion of proceeds will go toward supporting the Middleburg Humane Foundation! 

Saturday's schedule is as follows:
  • 11:30 a.m. - 12:20 p.m. - Register your pet for the Show at the National Sporting Library & Museum (you can also register here: https://fal.cn/3udUx)
  • 12:30pm - Parade from the National Sporting Library & Museum grounds to the Brick & Mortar parking lot, where all Show participants will greet the judges
  • 1:00 - 2:00pm - "Yappy Hour" with treats for canines 
 Prizes will be awarded for:
  • Best Holiday Costume
  • Best Costume with a Middleburg Theme
  • Best Dressed Dog/Human Pair

The Christmas Shop at Emmanuel Episcopal Church Returns!


After a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic Emmanuel’s Christmas Shop is back and in its traditional digs at the Emmanuel Parish House at 105 E. Washington Street. The hours are 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Friday December 9 and Saturday December 10. Two days of exciting shopping featuring merchants, artists, and artisans familiar and new.

Middleburg Stuff The Trunk


Help MBPA and the Middleburg Police Department STUFF THE TRUNK for Seven Loaves Services on Friday, December 9.

MPD officers will be at Safeway from 9 am to Noon and 3-5 pm.

 Head on over to the Safeway parking lot with your donations of non-perishable good for Holiday Dinners and place them in the MPD vehicle trunk! It's so easy to do a good deed for our friends and neighbors!

Music & Readings For Advent


Join us on Sunday, December 11th at 4:00pm for a special opportunity to share in the season of expectancy and preparation  that is Advent. We will share music for the Advent Season and poems and readings that take us away from the frenzy of commercialism and into a time of reflection on the coming of Christ. Music includes Advent   carols old and new performed by Sonya Subbayya Sutton and a professional quartet of singers. Readings from Christina Rossetti, C. S. Lewis, Dylan Thomas, and others. No charge but a free will offering will be collected.

Middleburg Community Center
 Cookie Decorating Workshop


Come and join us for an afternoon of cookie decorating with Amy Potter while enjoying a showing of ELF in the Grand Ballroom!

WHEN: December 20th, 3:00-4:30pm

WHERE: Middleburg Community Center Ballroom and Kitchen

WHAT: Create cookie magic with Amy Potter & From the Earth Creative in this holiday 'playshop' for kids of all ages! Decorate & take home 1/2 dozen locally baked sugar cookies while enjoying a showing of the movie ELF in the Grand Ballroom! Ages 5 & under parent or chaperone required.

DMV Connect Back In Middleburg - December 19th


DMV Connect, the Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles' mobile office, is coming to Town of Middleburg Monday, December 19th from 9:30am-3:30pm. It will offer services such as REAL ID, titles, registrations and more. The mobile unit will be located at the Masters of Foxhounds Association of North America at 301 E. Washington St.

Registration will open up two weeks prior to the event date.

The Pink Box : Volunteers Wanted!


Do you like to talk with people? Do you like to talk about this great town and area?  Do you like to give suggestions of the many things to do in this area?  If so, volunteering and being a Docent at The Pink Box Tourist Information Center is for you!
 
The Pink Box is open Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 11:00 am - 3:00 pm.
