COME ENJOY THE MIDDLEBURG FARMERS MARKET

We look forward to seeing you THIS SATURDAY, October 7th from 9am-12pm for all your fresh produce, treats, pretzels, gifts, and more!

The Middleburg Sustainability Committee is joining the Middleburg Farmers Market for the rest of the 2023 season. Come visit their table to learn more about what they're doing to help improve our beautiful community through recycling, composting, and keeping Middleburg clean.

We're already looking ahead to our 2024 Middleburg Farmers Market season. We are still ironing out final details, but we would love to add more amazing vendors! From food trucks to musicians, we'd love to grow the market!

The Middleburg Farmers Market is from 9am-12pm every Saturday at the Middleburg Community Charter School - 101 N. Madison from now until October 28th. The Children's Entrepreneur's are featured on the 3rd Saturday of every month.

VIRGINIA FALL RACES

Come out and enjoy the Virginia Fall Races on Saturday, October 14th. Post time is 12:30pm.

The Byrne Gallery Showcase at The Ashby Inn and Restaurant is on Thursday, October 26th, 2023 from 4:00pm - 6:00pm. Come enjoy an exhibition of the paintings of the late Gerald Hennesy, a renowned impressionist painter of Virginia landscapes. The exhibition, entitled “Autumn Splendor”, will feature a wide selection of oil on canvas paintings created by Hennesy over the course of his long and illustrious career.

MIDDLEBURG SUSTAINABILITY COMMITEE

We're excited to welcome the Middleburg Sustainability Committee to the Middleburg Farmers Market for the remainder of the season. Between the hours of 9AM-12PM, head down to the Middleburg Community Charter School with your dead household batteries and used razors, disposable or blades, and help redirect that waste from the landfill to recycling and partial reuse! They will also have one of their @worm_works_composting buckets for food scraps to make in to wonderful compost!

But wait....there's more!

Mark your calendars for the traditional Middleburg Fall Town Cleanup! They will meet just before 8AM on Saturday, October 28th at both The Middleburg Community Center & Levis Hill for an energizing coffee and pastries courtesy of Salamander Middleburg and then set off in groups to pick up litter and organically spray weeds. 

*NEW* this year is the extended cleanup to Windy Hill!

Want to learn more about this committee? They meet the 1st Wednesday of each month in the Town Office at 10 W. Marshall St.
