CLEARING SIDEWALKS AFTER SNOWSTORMS

The Town reminds residents and tenants that individual property owners are responsible for clearing sidewalks adjoining their property after a snowstorm.

Specifically, properties in the commercial area of Town are required by Town Code to have sidewalks cleared within 6 hours of the end of a storm, or by noon the next day if snow falls overnight.

We want to ensure that Middleburg remains a safe and accessible Town for everyone and keeping sidewalks clear is an important way to keep pedestrians safe.

And thanks to those who lend a helping hand to their neighbors!

LOUDOUN COUNTY'S FUTURE PLANS FOR ROUTE 50 CORRIDOR

The Town of Middleburg would like to draw everyone’s attention to a survey Loudoun county is currently having on its future plans for changes to the route 50 corridor from Lenah to Paris Mountain. Some of these proposed changes are substantial and fundamental and could significantly alter and impact our rural road. At the provided link you will find the survey which closes on February 18. We have also provided a link to the Counties PowerPoint presentation showing its proposed changes. Please reach out if you have any questions.

The team at Emmanuel Episcopal is keeping busy and hosting several amazing events this month!

Don't miss a sneak peak of hometown favorite, Tom Sweitzer of A Place to Be's new musical "20 Seconds" that will be at Emmanuel on Saturday, February 15th at 2pm.

Then come back to the Parish House on Sunday, February 23rd at 3pm to hear the uplifting voices of area school choruses.

For the third consecutive year, they are bringing together four school choruses to hear and celebrate their talents. They will showcase their wide-ranging repertoires with genres ranging from Renaissance madrigals, pop, Broadway, folk, contemporary and international favorites, and more!

MIDDLEBURG WELLNESS DAY

We invite you to participate and enjoy the 2025 Middleburg Wellness Day which will take place on Saturday April 12, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Wellness Day will highlight the numerous businesses and organizations in and around Middleburg that contribute to the many aspects of health and wellness and will be there to connect with, as well as presentations from local experts, swag, giveaways, and more!

The last day to receive vendor applications is Wednesday, March 12, 2025. Selections will be made in relation to promoting overall health and wellness and on a first come first served basis.
