Middleburg Arts & Community Events Committee

Overview

The Middleburg Arts & Community Events Committee (MACEC) is an advisory committee to the Town Council. Their role is to coordinate the community cultural and art events that are sponsored by the Town of Middleburg (excluding Christmas in Middleburg). This coordination includes staffing the events; the formulation of appropriate rules for the events; organizing any entertainment associated with events; and, advertising, promoting and marketing events.  They are also responsible for making recommendations to the Town Council on funding requests submitted to the Town by local organizations for tourism and cultural activities, as well as coordinating the marketing of events with the Town's branding implementation team.  

Meetings

The Committee meets at 5:30 p.m. on the 3rd Wednesday of each month in the Town Hall Executive Conference Room.
