The Town of Middleburg is OPEN for the Holidays!
While we will miss not having our annual parades, tree lighting, and large gatherings, we are excited to announce the creation of new traditions throughout the Town. All of our activities were fun and exciting - and we hope to show you more soon!
Do you need a LAST MINUTE GIFT?? Check out our shops, or consider buying a Shop Middleburg gift card. It can be used at more than 15 locations in Town, and new businesses are being added regularly.

HELP THOSE IN NEED - Food Drive for Seven Loaves
Thanks to the great work of BAC Dumpsters, Trinity Episcopal in Upperville, the Middleburg Safeway, and the local business community, nearly 2500 pounds of food and $1900 in donations were given to Seven Loaves. They continue to need your assistance - so check out how to help and stay tuned for more efforts to donate to those in need!

HORSE DRAWN CARRIAGE RIDES - SOLD OUT!
At this time, all tickets for carriage rides have been sold. We are overwhelmed by the positive response and appreciate the excitement about this activity!
We are excited to announce horse-drawn carriage rides on December 5th, 12th, and 19th! Each ride is 12-15 minutes long and is only $20 (for up to 4 persons). At the end, you'll also receive a complimentary Middleburg Christmas ornament!

CHRISTMAS TREES
Check out the 65-foot lighted Christmas Tree at the Middleburg Museum/Pink Box. The tree lighting ceremony will be virtual this year, and be sure to watch on Friday, December 4th, at 6pm. Check out the event here!
Specially lit and decorated Christmas trees will line Washington, Madison, and Federal Streets this year. Certain shop owners will be decorating trees, and they will all provide a festive spirit for visitors throughout the business district!

COMPLIMENTARY HOT COCOA
Visit Scruffy's Ice Cream Parlor or Market Salamander for a complimentary cup of hot cocoa as you stroll the streets and shops in Middleburg. Be sure to visit a local bakery or coffee shop for a pastry or slice of pie to go with it!
FREE COCOA will be available on weekends only, Dec. 5-6, 12-13, and 19-20. Enjoy!

LIVE MUSIC
Each weekend, join us for carols and other holiday music! Bach2Rock will be providing holiday music throughout the Town - tune in as you stroll our historic streets and shop in our wonderful stores!
Saturdays, December 5th, 12th, and 19th: 12pm-4pm
Sundays, December 6th, 13th, and 20th: 2pm-5pm

RESIDENTIAL Decoration Contest
We encourage all residents to decorate their homes to promote the spirit of the holidays in Middleburg. Participating homes can qualify to win a gift certificate for the following categories:
- Best Traditional Decorations
- Best Front Door/Porch Decorations
- Best Light Display
- Judges Choice
Registration ends November 30th. Participants must agree to have their address listed on a map, which will be provided below. Contact Rhonda North at 540-687-5152 or via email for more information!
