Planning Commission

Overview

The Middleburg Planning Commission prepares and recommends to the Council:

• A Comprehensive Plan for the physical development of the Town
• Amendments to the Zoning, Subdivision and Site Plan regulations

The Commission also reviews and makes recommendations concerning proposed:

• Special Use Permits
• Zoning Map Amendments (rezonings)

The Commission is the approving authority for Subdivisions and Site Plans.

Members must be residents of the Town of Middleburg.

Meetings

The Planning Commission generally meets on the fourth Monday of each month in the Town Office.  They hold a work session beginning at 6:30 p.m., with their regular meetings beginning at 7:00 p.m.
