Town Hall Facility Use
While the primary use of the Town Hall is for the conduct of Town government business, the Town does allow certain uses/users to use public meeting rooms during normal business hours, upon approval.
Permitted Uses/Users
The following groups are permitted to use and/or uses are allowed to occur in public areas, to the extend permitted under the Town Hall Facility Use Policy and by law:
- Civic forums.
- Federal, State, County and Town elected or appointed officials or employees
- Local businesses (for meeting purposes only)
- Meetings of any body or organization whose mission is education, learning, the arts or economic development.
- Meetings, entertainment and occasions where admission fees are charged, when the proceeds are spent for a greater Middleburg community, educational or charitable purpose.
- Non-profit citizens groups located in or doing business in the Town of Middleburg
- Social or civic groups whose meetings pertain to the welfare of the greater Middleburg community (headquarters located within 10 miles of the Town's corporate limits) so long as use is non-exclusive and open to the general public.
AVAILABLE MEETING SPACES
Mondays through Fridays (when Town Hall open for business) from 8:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m. The Town reserves the right to cancel approved reservations or relocate users to a different meeting room if requested room is needed for Town business purposes.
- Executive Conference Room
- Police Training Room
- Council Chambers (audience area only)
USE OF FACILITIES
- Users may submit a request for the use of a meeting space once/month. Applications must be submitted at least ten (10) business days in advance and may not be submitted more than three months in advance.
- Applicants must ensure a responsible party is on site at all times during use. Responsible party must be at least 18 years of age.
- With exception of water, food & beverages are not allowed in Council Chambers. Food and/or non-alcoholic beverages may be consumed in Executive Conference Room or Police Training Room upon approval of Town Manager and with payment of $250 cleaning/damage fee (refundable if no damage).
- Use of television/monitors allowed only in Executive Conference Room or Police Training Room upon prior approval (including approval of connecting third-party device).
- USERS AND THEIR RESPONSIBLE PARTIES MUST AGREE TO ABIDE BY THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE TOWN HALL FACILITY USE POLICY.

TOWN GROUNDS USE POLICY
Town grounds may not be reserved for private use but rather are open for public use from sunrise to sunset, subject to compliance with the Town Grounds Use Policy.
